Worked as tax examiner and tax auditor for the tax authorities of the Land of Bremen.
Part-time lecturer for sales tax law at the Hochschule für Öffentliche Verwaltung Bremen (college of public administration) and at the Norddeutsche Akademie für Finanzen und Steuerrecht Hamburg  (Northern German Academy for finance and tax law).
Part-time lecturer for insolvency law at the Hochschule Bremen - International Graduate Center (IGC).
